The
Berlin-Leipzig route for Train Simulator is a continuation of our well-known
Berlin-Wittenberg route. With this add-on, this important rail connection can
now be used continuously between Berlin and Leipzig.
Experience around 195 km of electrified main line from Berlin Hauptbahnhof to
Leipzig Hauptbahnhof. Also included is the branch line to the new
Berlin-Brandenburg airport, which unfortunately is still not open in the real
world. An approximately 18 km long section of the Berlin S-Bahn has also been
recreated, on which true-to-original AI trains also run, as well as parts of the
Leipzig tram network. Here, too, true-to-original vehicles run as AI traffic.
The route is now one of the most important rail connections in Germany and
allows speeds of up to 200 km/h. Despite all the modernity, there are still many
traces of the past to the left and right of the tracks: signal boxes, station
buildings, old depots. We have tried to capture this flair in the Berlin-Leipzig
add-on.
With the add-on, discover cities and landscapes, enchanting nights and a big sky
over Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony on one of the most important
railway routes in Germany.
