Glacier Express RhB St. Moritz - Chur
for the Microsoft Train Simulator
Following the huge success of "Heidi Express," the simtrain design team is now working on what is arguably the most exciting train in Europe: the Glacier Express. The first section – the Albula Line from St. Moritz to Chur – is a real challenge with its many bridges, looping tunnels, and gorges. During this two-hour adventure, you'll pass over 25 stations. Freight trains to the Engadine are increasingly running on the Albula Line. Special attention is paid to the "activities" of the freight trains. As a special highlight, the impressive rolling stock list also includes the legendary RhB Crocodile, a special treat not only for fans of powered rail vehicles. A world first: All locomotives now feature an electric regenerative brake that functions and is animated.
The coveted panoramic carriages and the advertising locomotives for Swisscom and Coop are just a few of the many locomotives and carriages. As a bonus, the Davos - Filisur connecting route is included, an ideal complement to the Heidi Express and the Glacier Express.
