JTG BR401
Scenario Package Vol. 1
The
Class 401 was the first series-produced high-speed train in Germany and laid the
foundation for six generations of this train type to date. Commissioned in 1991,
these multiple units operate at speeds of up to 280 km/h and seat approximately
700 passengers in Germany and Switzerland, and have since shaped the image of
German high-speed rail transport. In the early 1990s, state guests such as
Elizabeth II and the Japanese Emperor Akihito traveled through Germany in
specially modified trains. According to current plans, this class is to remain
in service until 2030.
One of this series' core routes is the quintessentially romantic Rhine Valley.
Experience exciting journeys through the World Heritage landscape of the "Upper
Middle Rhine Valley" between Koblenz and Frankfurt am Main in our challenge
