From Hamburg up to Westerland, the married pair carriages have been the backbone of local transport on the Marschbahn for many years now. Use this add-on to get behind the wheel of the distinctive carriages. The add-on "Married Pair Cars Vol.2" depicts the condition of the carriages at the time of the Nord-Ostsee-Bahn.
The train is rounded off by the matching MAK DE2700 locomotive. This locomotive is, in a way, due to a return home. The series was originally delivered to Norway by MAK in 1997. Due to the demanding Norwegian climate, the locomotives did not meet the requirements for operational service. Since improvements were unsuccessful, the NSB returned the diesel locomotives, which they considered unusable, to the manufacturer Siemens in early 1999. In Germany, the locomotives, which had since been overhauled, found a new home with the Nord-Ostsee-Bahn on the Marschbahn and were an iconic sight on the route for a long time. This add-on gives you the opportunity to get behind the wheel of this iconic locomotive.
So that you can drive the cars straight away, two scenarios for our "Nordfriesland Vol.1" route and two scenarios for the "Die Vogelfluglinie" route are included. Also included are various repaints for the DE2700.
