Muenster-Bremen

The Train Simulator Add-on Münster-Bremen presents the 170 km long section of the runway as it was in 2009. The focus of the presentation is on a high-quality route and reproduction of the overhead line as well as a precise reproduction of all 32 stations in the condition they were in 2009. Experience the runway, whose splendour from the days of steam locomotives can still be seen today.

Two developments have changed the image of this route since it opened in 1873. Firstly, the replacement of steam locomotives with electric locomotives and the electrification of the railway line, and secondly, the change from general cargo transport to car transport and container trains. In recent years, large parts of the old infrastructure have been demolished or modernised - hence the choice to depict the year 2009, when this process had not progressed so far and you can still feel the old days a little.
