With the new AL1 battery-powered locomotive, the network expands to include exciting tasks beyond the regular lines.

For the first time, you take on the role of a driver, getting a behind-the-scenes look at daily operations – into areas normally reserved for technical staff. In five new, authentically designed scenarios, you'll accompany challenging missions involving construction work, vehicle transport, and special logistics tasks.

Support major projects, tow away defective DT5 trains, deliver new vehicles, and prepare for large-scale events. With the AL1, you're ready for any situation where flexibility and precision are required. Thanks to its powerful battery, the AL1 isn't dependent on the third rail, opening up entirely new operational areas within the Hamburg network.

This gives you access to previously inaccessible sections of the track, including the Saarlandstraße track maintenance workshop – a place where technology, planning, and craftsmanship converge. There, you can shunt LB6 railcars with various goods, manually switch points, and plan your own routes.

In addition to regular train operations, you'll experience the technical processes that make the smooth operation of the Hamburg U-Bahn possible. Each mission presents you with new challenges – from precise shunting and time pressure to complex operations involving multiple vehicles.

The AL1 DLC brings you closer to the reality of everyday subway life than ever before, revealing that behind every journey on the line lies a sophisticated system of logistics and teamwork.
